The studio’s empty as Jon’s doing the self-quarantine thing… so this week’s episode is all about the guests! Jon welcomes his comedian buddy Dusty Slay into the show to talk about fireworks, drive-in comedy, Charlie Daniels, An Officer and a Gentleman, seeing “boobs in the wild”, and vacuuming up frogs. Then Jon meets Michael Sweet, lead singer and co-founder of the Christian metal band Stryper, to discuss the band’s history, where the stripes came from, and performing during a pandemic. This episode will have you saying “To Hell With the Devil” followed by “We’re Having A Good Time.”
Ep 31: Jim Norton, Russian Pen Pals and Fish Tank Swimming
Sebastian and Jon talk about the first-ever Country-ish Telethon, performing with Bert Kriescher at a drive-in theater, becoming an award-winning podcast, and the growing podcast numbers in Norway. And finally, Jon and Marc exchange cheap gifts from a Goodwill in “Goodwill Hunting”. This episode might give you the vapors.

In this episode Jon and Sebastian catch up, open your gifts, and introduce a new character to the show. His name is “Ken Spiracy” and he joins us from an undisclosed location to talk about the controversial “Mandala Effect”. Then in “Small Town News” a Louisiana women bites a camel in the balls to save her dog’s life. Finally, in “Who’s Zoomin Who” the WellRed Comedians – Trae Crowder, Drew Morgan, and Corey Forrester – zoom in to talk about their favorite Dad moments. This episode may have already happened in an alternate universe, but it’s not as good as this one.

And finally, in “Jon’s Journal” Jon reads a letter sent to him from Russia in 1990 by a female pen pal. Will he write her back? This one moves like a well oiled machine!
